Dearest, I wrote you a letter.Dearest,
I've missed you today,
the way I miss you on most days.
Again you were tirelessly running
through my mind, arising randomly
on the forefront of my thoughts
and I was searching for your head
among the clouds.
The minute you leave constrains me
craving for your presence by my side
so it is unquestionably impossible
to see you as much as I'd like to.
But whenever I do stumble upon you,
you don't seem as lighthearted
as you could be, you know,
your smile isn't as carefree
as I know it.
Darling, are you feeling blue? Tired? Stressed?
Are you perhaps doubting yourself, your dreams and ambitions and this whole life?
If I am right, if my depiction is
lucky enough - or unlucky, in this
special case - to be the truth, it would
not change anything about my feelings.
It's just that I am distraught for seeing you like that and I am feeling so very helpless.
Could I, maybe, would you allow me
to touch your shoulder and say
"forget for a minute how small I must seem to you -

Challenge: Letters to LoveDear Scott,
Are you ready to put on a show? You play, I'll sing. I just need some backing track, okay? I know you can do it for me. We'll take the stage, dressed in our punk rock styled best, and the lights will flood the stage. We can do some introductions, watch the world cheer us on like they always do, and then it's time for our first track of the setlist.
Now what I need is for you to start with a mellow guitar track. I'll carry the melody with my voice if you can do the rest on the electric guitar. "Alt-rock queen seeks punk rock king," or so the story goes, and I'll launch into a lyrical story of us. As I get into the real meat of the song, could you play faster? I'm thinking somewhere between pop-punk and powerpop styled riffs. The crowd will start to see where we are going with this not too far into the song, you see, so when they cheer us on, don't be fazed.
Letter to my soulmatesTo the angels who are watching down at night,:thumb196646416:
I have found a boy who thinks it's funny when he plays mind games with his friends.
He likes to keep letters that girls write to him, even if his eyes say he doesn't care.
He doesn't believe in having a defined personality, or being dictated by expectations.
He prefers to follow his heart, mind and desires as they guide him to me.
To the boy my poems are now about,
You make me realize that I am more than what people tell me to be,
that I am in essence a person, a woman, a girl, and that I somehow
understand you as we become nothing more than our most true self
which is nothing like society tells us to be.
To the men that I call my brothers,
I still expect you to be by my side, with armour and shields
as you keep me safe from my most dangerous self
and understand exactly what can make
me hurt.
To the one whom I watched die,
It is because of you that I have been pushed outside my comfort zone
to see the world as more than just our moving bodi

Life can take you places
Whenever I attempt to throw myself back into the wonderful community here on DeviantArt, life has a way of pulling me back to my nitty gritty reality.
In all fairness, my life is going in a wonderful direction but I miss the creativity of this place, and so I will not promise to be back here for good, but I promise that I will make more of an effort with you wonderful creative hearts
Since graduating from the University of Derby, life has been pretty busy, and I won't bore you with all the details but here's what I have been up to (and hopefully this may explain my absence)
I was in a terrifying car crash in September 2014 which t
I've done it!
I've completed my degree and I am now a BA (Hons) History graduate from the University of Derby! :wahoo:
Actually, I finished on the 1st of May but I've been celebrating on holiday with my Robert  we went to West Sussex, exploring places such as Battle where the Battle of Hastings took place as well as Dover, Brighton and Eastbourne. We had such a lovely time, and now it's back to reality and work. :shakefist:
I have a job interview on Friday for a Recruitment Consultant in Birmingham, and I just hope I get it :fingerscrossed: I am currently working as a Receptionist at a hotel quite close by, and the one thing I have learnt is that

Hello everyone,
I am slowly coming back onto dA - I have been reading and viewing all of your art pieces recently. I haven't :+fav: anything simply because I didn't want to make my presence back on here so known yet. I know it has been such a long time since I've really interacted on dA but it's slowly starting to happen again.
I have been keeping a personal blog and diary to keep my head clear of my studies and issues which are currently going on. I'm nearing the end of my degree in BA History, with just my dissertation and 2 more modules to go. I have no idea what I want to do after I graduate, but there are quite a few plans in the pipeli
Happy Belated New Year
I always apologise for the long breaks I have from deviantArt, and it's always for the same reason. I have been so busy with university and my studies that I often have little time for myself, and the days off I have I spend with my lovely other half :) Unfortunately I have been unable to have some time to myself over Christmas as I anticipated due to the busy nature of.. well, Christmas I guess.
Thank you to those who wished me a happy birthday in December, it's wonderful to know people on here still care and think of me even if I am a bit absent and distracted.
I always think back to deviantArt as a way of release and recovery, and I gues
